I’ve had the tools out today, and with thanks to wordpress, I am pleased to announce the launch of the Broadclyst Community Church Website.

At the moment the aims of the website are:

  1. To provide a community focused website. This is done by including local news feeds, using Twitter as a micro blog, and hopefully updating the main site on a regular basis. WordPress was used as a way to achieve this.
  2. To update on a regular basis. Many features of the website as it stands can be easily updated.
  3. To inform and help to teach the church. Apart from being a tool to give people information, it will be nice if it could be used as tool to equip, inform and teach. Need more time to develop this!

It would be nice if it was more interactive then it probably is. Has anyone seen good examples of church websites offering interactivity?
